Текст песни: And am I born to die To lay this body down And must my trembling spirit fly Into a world am I born to die To lay this body down And must my trembling spirit fly Into a world unknown - A land of deepest shade, Unpierced by human thought, The dreary regions of the dead, Where all things are forgot Soon as from earth I go, What will become of me Eternal happiness or woe Must then my portion be Waked by the trumpet's sound, I from my grave shall rise, And see the Judge with glory crowned, And see the flaming skies. Полный текст. Born to Die is found on the album Born to Die. Found on more albums: Lana Del Rey EP. I feel so alone on a Friday night Can you make it feel like home if I tell you you're mine It's like I told you, honey. Lost but now I am found I can see but once I was blind I was so confused as a little child Tried to take what I could get Scared that I couldn't find All the answers, honey. Don't make me sad, don't make me cry Sometimes love is not enough and the road gets tough, I don't know why Keep making me laugh Let's go get high The road is long, we carry on Try to have fun in the meantime. This version of I Am Legend is the third movie adaptation of Matheson's novel. The two earlier films are The Last Man on Earth 1964 and The Omega Man 1971. The title is a reference to Robert Neville's favorite album, Legend by Bob Marley. Neville describes Marley's desire to cure racism and hate with music and love, and he emulates Marley's desire with his desire to find a cure for the Krippin Virus. He is now a legend, hence the title I Am Legend. You could argue that, since Neville is the one who sacrificed his life in order to save the remainder of mankind, he will be a legend among the survivors, but that was not Matheson's intent when he named the novel. Lost, but now I am found I can see that once I was blind I was so confused as a little child Tried to take what I could get, scared that I couldn't find All the answers I need. Don't make me sad, don't make me cry Sometimes love is not enough and the road gets tough I don't know why Keep making me laugh Let's go get high The road is long, we carry on Try to have fun in the meantime. For Born To Die, I wrote a treatment for it called The Lonely Queen, so that I would be in a setting that represented Heaven, sort of in like a remote castle in Romania. Walking through the halls flanked by tigers. And then shed be flashing back to happier times in the arms of her love
